Here's how I would go about this if I was installing BBM on an Android tablet:

-Download BBM on my Android phone
-Then download an app which would let me extract the app file (aka the apk.) APK extractor is a free app I use for such purposes.
-Run extractor app, extract BBM apk.
-Somehow get the BBM apk from my phone onto the tablet.
-Go into Settings>Security>Device Administration and check the box for "unknown sources" (or maybe you don't need to do this. I just had it checked when I last installed a third party app.)
-Then run the BBM apk, and follow the steps for installation. If you get a security warning, let it proceed.

Dear MC_A_Dot - BBM right now is not compatible with tablets, but the trick mentioned in the post here will install BBM official app on Android Smartphones & Tablets. Since Playbook is an official BB device, this trick may not work as of now.

I wouldn't trust the 'Aptoid' Android app / store one little bit, it's bound to be full of virus ridden and illegal software, use it at your own risk !.

I tried this and it works.
Used aptoid for this only , will now delete it.

As for BBM on tab 2 , it works great !

I started to load BBM from aptoid but chickened out when I had to select the option to load from Unknown sources.

About 30 minus ago I found BBM in the Play Store and I've loaded it onto my Tab 2 from the Play Store all legit, no side loading or tricks.
