    I've installed it on my iPad 2 and iPhone 5s.

    Unless you have an iPad 1st gen. As I think it requires iOS 6...

    Have you tried it on your iPad? On the bbm.com site it says, "tablets are not supported". I haven't gotten around to testing it yet.

    I'm thinking it should work on the ipad. When you go to the apple store for BBM, it says the following:

    Compatibility: Requires iOS 6.0 or later. Compatible with iPhone, iPad 2 Wi-Fi + 3G, iPad Wi-Fi + Cellular (3rd generation), iPad Wi-Fi + Cellular (4th generation), and iPad mini Wi-Fi + Cellular. This app is optimized for iPhone 5

    I did. Same as on my iPhone -- submit email address and wait in queue.

    Haven't gotten my email(s) yet, so that's as far as I've gotten. (How was I to know that signing up on BBM.com was more than just a huge data-grab for Blackberry?)

    I have a question about BBM on iphone. Does it show messages in the same place as imessages and texts or do you have to go to the app everytime to use it?

    I have a friend on iphone who is curious but won't install it right away.

    I'm using a Z10 so I can't check.

    Have to go to the app each time, but it shows up as a notification, so it's not hard.
