i dont see why carriers cant just get the update and push them out quick without months of modification. the bloatware is usually on the initial phone release, i assume not much bloatware is added with each update, so what takes so long?

I'm just going to wait for official release myself and then find an alterantive method to intsall 10.2

Waiting for at&t is going to be painful, and moght take even longer with all the corp-related turmoil in the background.

You guys remember how long we waited for last updates on OS 7.

That's one thing that pisses me off about AT&T. They take forever to roll out updates for BlackBerry. I was really hoping they would push 10.2 out by the end of October.

Answering to the OP, who knows when AT&T will release it. We can only hope it will be this year. They do jot seem to be too enthusiastic on BlackBerry. They have not even said anything on the Z30.

BerryLeaks 10.2.1.575 works like a charm on my AT&T Q10, SQN100-1 for a week now.
and I will not go back to the AT&T version. Have you ever succeeded toggling the Airplane Mode button in the official version?
Works as it should and much more in that leaked version.

I ordered a Rogers SIM from Expansys last Friday that arrived yesterday. Have had 10.2 since. If you're like me and like to keep things official, then this is a way to go. 10.2 is a marked improvement over 10.0 and 10.1. The lock screen previews and toast notifications are fantastic, as is the Android 4.2 runtime. It's completely worth it!

I ordered a Rogers SIM from Expansys last Friday that arrived yesterday. Have had 10.2 since. If you're like me and like to keep things official, then this is a way to go. 10.2 is a marked improvement over 10.0 and 10.1. Decided I didn't want to wait and although I was scared I took the plunge and downloaded Sachies app and installed 10.2, said I was never going to do anything like that, it only took 46 min from start to finish. Crackberry lists left out some of the steps, but I figured it out and I'm running a shinny new 10.2 right now and it superb

Quick Q.

I should be getting the Rogers SIM any day now.

I just realized Rogers has two versions of the Q10, the -1 and the -3

AT&T only sells the -1

Any chance using a Rogers SIM on my AT&T Q10 will affect lTE or is the Rogers 10.2 update the same for both their -1 and -3 Q10s?

Got the Telus sim card for $2.99 on eBay. Couldn't wait for AT&T till 'winter'. Now for 10.2.1.xxx to be released hopefully soon.

There are more 10.2.??.?? leaks on this site and other places than I have on my Saab 9-3. So, which leak do I go after to resolve my AT&T BBQ10. I want to attack the RIGHT leak and update my phone with the 10.2.??.?? that makes me forget about all the other leaked 10.2.??.??

I've been wondering the same thing since the release. I thought it would only be a day or two behind other carriers. Apparently not. I can't believe AT&T on this one. Folks are already talking about the next software update when I can't even get 10.2. I wish hashtags worked here. They don't, but a couple if they did! #10.2already, #Theresmorethaniphone
