In Canada and most of the rest of the world they expect to release it by the end of this month. US will take longer of course.

What does it matter... it's coming soon so be patient.

Really I guess 10.2 has dropped already with the release of the Z30. For an official version for your device, it will depend when BlackBerry makes it official for that device and when the Carriers finish testing, certification and are ready to push it out. The end of October is what many have in mind as the date that will happen. But Carriers (like in the US) might have a longer test process, or may not be happy with the version that BlackBerry has given them... so 10.2 could be very soon, or next year.

BUT that said, the "official" release will most likely be far behind the "leaked" releases, so you are better off not waiting and figure out how to install a "leak" today.

Well, too late for that now, the question has been asked. Your reply is kinda redundant :/

If you remove your sim card, reboot your phone, it won't matter what carrier you are with, just do the update through wifi. Because then you will rely on the blackberry servers and not the carrier servers. Easy tip I used before.

That doesn't work if you're signed-in to BBM; I've tried several times.

Really wish we had live wallpapers in 10.2. Seems like something that should be put in considering almost every other smart phone on the market has it.

I went on a business trip to Brazil, and the carriers there didn't get the 10.1.0.4181 there. So then I removed the sim card, rebooted my device and it worked.
P.S. I use BBM all the time, I don't know why you would have an issue with that.

I'm glad that the WiFi only trick works for you, I've known it does for some and not others. Wonder if it's because each BB10 phone is region specific?
