It allows you to reply to this message without leaving the app you're in, making you more productive.

What I want to know is, can the length of time the toast notification will be displayed on the screen be changed?

I think "toast Notifications" is technically "instant preview" in 10.2 settings. If I am wrong, someone please correct me. I see no way to lengthen or shorten the time of display. All I see is to turn them on or off. Hopefully, if there is more flexibility in settings, someone can enlighten us.

Other enhancements are batter optimization and improvements in the smoothness of the UI.

And lock screen notifications allow you to quickly check who messaged you and then you decide whether or not the process of unlocking your phone and answering is worth it. Lol

If turned on, yes.

Yup. There are other features. But the lock screen notifications and toast notifications (instant preview) are the biggest ones.

Haha I was very afraid too. But it's actually pretty easy. And it's worth it. No doubt.

I got a Z10 yesterday and did it....i'm pretty comfortable with doing these things and its VERY easy...downloaded the leak, ran the exe file and typed in my phones password (I have Development mode on) and within about 15 min, i was up and running......I also noticed a *HUGE* speed increase.....in fact, some people are saying GeekBench scores hit 2000 in 10.2 vs 1700-1800 on 10.1, software update made a HUGE difference...also makes a huge difference with Android apps.....got Plants vs Zombies 2 on mine

Another advantage is better battery life on 10.2 vs 10.1 . Still not stellar, but for me at least its much better.
