i guess since the release date is close to what the storm should be and it's listed as Verizon and Blackberry, we're all assuming it's the storm? since it doesnt say anywhere on the display ?
I'll be getting a curve. There's no way I'll pay that. My new every 2 isn't until March. $700 that mortgage and 2 weeks worth groceries. So then that means $399 2 year contract. With new every 2 that $100 discount so $299 out the door. Yeah I'll get a curve!!

Anything over $300.00 BEFORE rebates and they can kiss a ton of sales goodbye. I was going to say they can kiss my as@ but it may offend parents in here.
Heck we will all get together outside Verizon stores nationwide and sing that song na na na na......... na na na na hey hey goodbye EVERYONE now na na na na......na na na na hey hey goodbye.

WOW, i think I may go look at the iphone and or the G1 instead. i'm not elegible for an upgrade and there is no way I will pay more than $500
if this is the actual retail price verizon may loose even more customers to ATT and the iphone
I use to work for Magnolia A/V so I know how best buy prices there stuff. If it is something that has a street date lets say like the WII they priced it like 1000$ over the price that it is going to be at release and on the day of release the computer drops the price to normal street pricing.
When I worked in retail a long time ago things that were coming into inventory but didn't have a price confirmed by the mfg or carrier would have a max price put in so the units could be allocated by store cause thats how the software works
i hope the above 2 posters are right, 700 dollars, thats some serious dough for a blackberry. if its that much i don't know what im gonna do. i really want this phone, i don't know if its worth 700, not to mention, i don't think ive ever seen a phone on verizon that is worth 700 dollars with a 2 year contract and rebates. but damn
This phone is bein targeted at the early adoptors and the folks that dont have an issue paying for the hottest phone first. I believe verizon will price this around 399.00 with all rebates. Keeping three price tiers for the pearl, Curve and high end storm.. and most in here will buy it after using it once.. Trust me its an amazing device...
