Yesterday I decided to load Bell's 4.5 on to my 8130. Was looking forward to HTML emails, never though youtube would work as well. This is awesome, cant wait for the Storm to come out, will definately upgrade now!

It works on 4.3 as well, or whatever the old OS is. I havent upgraded to another carriers 4.5 yet, just tried it out and it works!

Yes I have a Telus 8330 and youtube is playing fine here as well. Running 4.3 OS.

I tried once and it didn't work with a south park episode, when I tried another video it seemed to work.

Try another video and see if that helps.

I found this on another Blackberry site....
It seems TELUS BlackBerry users are jumping for joy today. It appears TELUS has finally unblocked streaming media on BlackBerry smartphones. If you take your BlackBerry and visit m.youtube.com you are now able to watch any Youtube video! This might just yet be another sign the Storm is getting closer�

its weird for me too

last night it worked right after i installed v4.5...but this morning it stopped working...but sometimes when i clear my history it'll work on one video..

could it be a setting i'm not doing right?

It worked for me last night on 4.3 and today it's not working.

I've never had 4.5 on my device.

I just got off the phone with someone at Telus. And his response was, "WHAT! REALLY!",
He was very surprised that I was able to do it the last few days. To his knowledge youtube or other streaming media wont work until 4.5 or at least he had heard that streaming was suppose to be fixed then.

Now my response is bullcrap to that. If it needed to be upgraded to 4.5 to work, then how were we able to stream the last couple/few days. So I am going to give it a few days then try again and give them another call. And the date he has in the system is end of Oct for the release.
