    I just got my device back from repair and apparently the software on my phone was upgraded. The result appears to be that I cannot restore my phone - it says the ID doesn't match. As a side issue, none of my apps or purchases appear in BlackBerry World.

    Damn, they wiped your phone and used another BBID on it.. they must have had a good reason, I guess..

    You'll have to do the same, wipe it and enter your credentials.

    And if you are curious enough, ask them why.

    I sent it in because the screen stopped responding. It was sent directly to BB through my local Telus dealer. They didn't have much of an explanation other than 'software upgrade'. Now I just have to find out how to get back all the apps I had. I can't find them on BB World and several were paid apps. Sent them a Tweet, but no response yet.

    Log in to BBID, bro. Seriously. If you can't then wipe the device and you'll be able to.

    Once you successfully log in with your credentials, your purchase history will be restored. If you don't use your BBID then you won't have your purchase history.

    I also had an issue with haveing two BB ID's. I thought BB Tech Support had merged them, but hadn't. So, looks like all is up and running again. Thanks again!
