With the news that BBRY is now selling devices directly there has been quite a bit of discussion what the 'right' price is for hardware, so let's poll it - I'm using the Q10 as the example.

People can add prices for other devices in their post like howarmat has.

    Q10?
I bough it 360 euro slightly used and unlocked on ebay few weeks ago.
For a factory unlocked, with competitors like iphone and S4 on 600 euro... be bold: 300-349 euro.
Very aggressive would be sub 300 euro price tag but how much does a Q10 really cost to Blackberry?
Is the Q10 the more difficult to sell? I do think the Z10 is the hardest to sell... they should tag it as low as possible and give it a bigger battery (the real big issue with the Z10)

    Q10 $200.00 max

The rest I can't price due to lack of interest.

I would do a blow out of Z10 phones at cost and Q5's as well. $249 a pop at the highest.

Z30 and Q10 though I would put those at the $449 mark.

Until we know how they did the write down its hard to say what they can actually sell the Z10s at. I am not sure if any write off was taken on the Qs, i think it was only the Z. Once the full details come out our thoughts on price can change a lot

It's a good point but I'm not asking people what they would pay for BBRY to make money, I'm asking what they'd actually be willing to pay which is a slightly different question.

<50 USD but not nothing. Maybe 25 USD would make for a quick firesale. 50 USD you could still buy some low end or useful, used Androids and is more than half the price of a Lumia 520. 25 USD really hits the sweet spot where I feel comfortable buying something I don't need just for the heck of it.

EDIT: I think BBRY can sell out of their stock of Z10s at 100 USD; but it won't be a "fire sale" or spur quick adoption as some would think per se. It will take a while for the phones to be bought like maybe a couple months to a year. Smartphones are simply too competitive a field and there are plenty of useful phones that can be had for 100 USD.

    Z10 - don't need another
    Q10 - $250 CAD
    Q5 - $150 CAD
    Z30 - $400 CAD

Mind you I would only pay these prices right now. If they don't have a fire sale until next May or something then I'm out. That's a little too late.

I like your pricing....I would say the same in US dollars would be what I'm willing to pay. BlackBerry must be smoking some serious crack if they think they can sell a BB10 keyboard phone without a trackpad for $500 plus. That's crazy!!

    $99 across the board.

Why spend more when these devices will be at fire-sale prices soon enough?

Think playbook... and how many were kicking themselves for spending $300 or more on a dead-end tablet. Same will happen for the BB10 devices - dead end.

$99 for the Q10 would be perfect. I'd ditch my Nexus and get an LTE iPad Mini to replace the app gap.

None of the others are appealing.

I just bought my Q10 on a 2 year contract for $199, that said If it broke and I had to fork out the money to buy a phone off contract?? For brand new phone, I would look for another BB under $200 Dollars or I would look for a second hand BB phone.

I guess I'll have a go at this. All costs included, I would stop here.

    Q5 - $245
    Q10 - $480 (EDIT: Three months later, I would only pay $360.)
    Z10 - $265
Z30 - $510 (wireless charging incl.) (EDIT: Three months later, I would only pay $ 460.)

This is under the assumption BlackBerry, as an entity, will maintain its current form and develop on the operating system to a point of maturity.
