Does anyone know how to clear the Z10's clipboard memory?

I copied and pasted some paragraphs in a word document and saved it without issues.

Today...I copied a URL and tried to paste it to one my emails that I was going to send out. unfortunately....it wasn't the URL that was pasted but rather my earlier paragraphs from an earlier word document edit.

Did it again and no go. I know rebooting my phone will clear it but I would rather clear it using the regular way.

So...the question again, how does one clear the memory stored on the Z10's clipboard?

Clipboard clearing has a weird concept to it, even with desktop OS's. But I won't go into greater detail with that.

What I will say is this.

The clipboard on the Z10, especially on 10.1> is a buggy little.... bugger.

I've had that same problem when shifting from one app to the next, my solution is not restarting but pasting what you have on your current clipboard first, then deleting it, THEN going to copy and paste the new text.

    Stupid, I know.

I am wondering the same thing about my Z30 , 10.2 OS # listed in signature
with my old curve I would just reboot the phone.
I havent found anything in settings .
I assume it only saves one copy and paste at a time, to clear just open a blank txt and hold till the copy paste appears , copy the blank space to clear. Anyone know of a faster way ?

I'm looking inside password keeper and can't find this "clear clipboard" button. Can you take a screen shot and post?

In the 3 dots menu, it says clear clipboard.

Here's a screen shot with the three dots. After pressing it, there's no clear clipboard option. Am I missing something?

It's there in mine. May be a 10.2 feature.

You're probably right. I'll wait until Telus releases their official 10.2 update.

Yes it's definitely a 10.2 feature. After updating to 10.2, it still wasn't showing the clear clipboard. I noticed that my wife's Z10 (updated as well) had BlackBerry World updates which had password keeper as one of the new updates.

Well low and behold...even those who have recently updated to 10.2, make sure that you go to BlackBerry World and update password keeper to version 10.2.0.17

As you can see...the newest version uses the dark theme as default.

Perhaps in BB10 10.2 MR or 10.3, clearing clipboard should be under settings when we swipe down from the top on our main/home screen as default instead of using password keeper.
