Over the course of modern history ATT has always been very slow to release any new OS. Why not just use a leak? Installation is easy these days. The latest 10.2 runs very nicely on ATT Z10. For all my years with ATT and BlackBerry my phones have almost always run leaked OS instead of waiting for an official.

My thoughts exactly.

AT&T hasn't even released the 10.1 MR yet. I don't expect 10.2 until sometime next year. That way if it does come sooner, I'll be pleasantly surprised. But I'll probably also be several builds ahead of them anyway.

I called my local at&t store and customer servc.....no info on the 10.2 release.

AT&T acts as though BlackBerry doesn't exist. Anyone here with a Z10 100-3 on AT&T should load the 10.2.0.1727 or 1791 leak. Both are very stable, there's really no downside to it other than the one time pain of upgrading which you don't have with an OTA release. But the pain is less than waiting forever for AT&T to release 10.2. If you're upgrading from 10.0 be sure to back up your contacts or else put them in the cloud. Also your SMS messages if you need them.

We don't 10.2 here in the U.S until everyone else in the world does. We are the last to get it it seems like UK, Australia and every other part of the world are closer then the U.S. to the Canadian Border. If I sound like Debbie Downer I figure I start early since we will be waiting to the later part of the Winter to get update. :/ Thanks AT&T release in the U.S. Sometime in the Winter means early Spring 2014 for AT&T. Start calling AT&T now and bugging them and asking when 10.2 will be available. We all know how long it took for 10.1 to get released.

No watermarks. And you can load the official version of 1791 now. It's an improvement in terms of speed, Android runtime, etc. Read beta threads on 1767 and 1791.

No guarantees there at all. I think it's more carrier dependent than anything else.

I've heard some people around the forums claiming either the first or second week of November for the 10.2 update on AT&T. Obviously, take this with a major grain of salt knowing AT&T, but my figures are still crossed.

BlackBerry doesn't give updates to you. The carriers do. BlackBerry gives them to the carriers and then they decide when to push it out. Because BlackBerry users account for such a small portion of att's network, the idea of losing BlackBerry users is not important to them vs pissing off millions of iPhone users.
