I believe this is the Selfridges price, they're a high-end London department store. I wouldn't take that price as complete Gospel

Actually, Selfridges have reduced it to 529, which is what I bought my Q10 for.

Looking good! I'm seriously considering upgrading my Z10 to a Z30, seems I get early upgrade next month

I do seem to time my contracts perfectly. Was due an upgrade on 30th Jan this year, 1 day before Z10 released And now this!

UK prices almost never convert properly just via exchange rate. Due to a multitude of factors, including a high sales tax (VAT), just about all consumer goods pricing is much more expensive. By my guess, 529.00 will equal a USD price of around $600-$650.

Hopefully they don't make the same mistake as with all the other BB10 phones and price it too high. But of course, they probably will and repeat their mistake.

I'd be okay paying $500 CDN off contract. Anything more (especially $600-$650) and I'll be thinking a bit more about getting one.

It's not worth a penny over $550 and that's even pushing it. $500. Ive seen similar spec phones for $200-350.

Just having a brief search of UK sim free sellers the pricing structure appears to go along the lines of...
Z30 �529-�600
Q10 �500
Z10 �400
Q5 �300

All of them prices could do with lowering by about �50 to make them a serious proposition when stacked up against a similar other brand device to make them more tempting. As mentioned, it will probably fall over the next few months to counter the bad press which does seem to have hit mainstream Uk media triggered by the large numbers of lay offs.
Blackberry needs to make an official statement and soon! The more I read the more I think Blackberry are going to streamline, get back to their user base and come back stronger with some lessons learnt after getting their fingers burnt fighting an un-winnable war in a fierce market. In effect they were talking when they should have been listening. Anyhow, what potential customers want now is no more fancy specs thrown up or even devices. They have a good solid range at the minute for everyone's taste. They just want re-assured that blackberry are going nowhere one way or the other and calm the fears of users. Again lack of positive communication is their downfall. Ironic the that a company that deals with communicating are so bad at it.

The Z30 is up for 499 at Expansys.

The Q5 is up for 229 at CPW.

The Z10 is up for between 290 to 305 from a couple of places and has been as low as 229 at CPW.

The Q10 is up for around 499 at most places.
