95% of them work now. I got a friend of mine to sent all of them to me but I had to delete the message because it started to make my texts lag.

Now if only we can send them back...

Baby steps BlackBerry, just don't hurt yourself!

You can copy and paste them to send them. And yes almost all of them work in sms. This is on .1725

Many are working properly, but a quick glance at the Wikipedia page for Emoji in the BB10 browser shows that there's still several missing. Having said that, most of the ones I see in use on Twitter show up just fine.

Full-colour Emoji are not "proper" Emoji, they are Apple's interpretation of Emoji's. Android has monochrome Emoji's similar to BlackBerry 10 as well. I'd wager that the very first Emoji's were monotone too, considering that it's not really a very new concept, Apple was just responsible for making it popular.

Ya same, when I saw it I was like "this isn't what we wanted BB!"

Whether or not emoji is displayed, everyone knows it with the yellow faces and stuff. Anything different is sad.

Huh I thought it was WhatsApp who first had Emojis? I would consider them the 'proper' Emojis as that's what comes to mind when saying 'Emojis'. I don't understand why BlackBerry has not implemented the full colour versions.

Having looked back at what BlackBerry said about Emojis is that they would implement the standard unicode ones which unfortunately I'm sure is the black and white ones, I really don't understand how hard it is to get the fully coloured ones that iOS and WhatsApp use I'm sure they're not licensed by Apple. What also makes everything so confusing is through ought I think I was able to see 2 Emojis in the true colour form.
