don't the files seem small in size? the 9930 file was only 80 megs, I thought the 7.1 OS was over 200MB don't know about these files can someone else confirm if they actually work ?

Tell me this is a big joke! I just download the update 7.1.0.1047 for my bold 9900 and nothing changes, there is nothing which is like the 9720. No new screen lock, no radio, no multicast ... I'm so disappointed! Like never before! I hate blackberry!

How to install this OS, then please follow these steps.
PLEASE NOTE THIS WILL REMOVE ANYTHING THAT YOU ALREADY INSTALL, SO IT IS A GOOD IDEA TO MAKE A BACKUP OF YOUR FILES AND DATA.

1- Plug your BB to Computer
2- Run the .exe file for your desired BlackBerry Device.
3- When exe run in DOS Prompt Mode, you need to look the name that you need to enter at DOS Prompt (In my case i had install for 9900 and name that appear at DOS Prompt is dezi6)

What name do I need to put on the command prompt if I want to install this on my 9790? Also has anyone tested this and does it actually work like touch dialing pad, etc?

I downloaded and loaded it up. From my last .861 base in 9900. Type dezi6 (like in the method shown) and the dos prompt format and install the new base in my 9900. Just don't pull the cable yet when it get slow because I almost did it. So far its great,contains english and chinese language. Its weird because its only 80mb but maybe because bbm isn't included (I installed it from world) and other language or apps that I forget it was there. You can try to load it up,but remember I did it without erasing or factory resetting my phone. Just load it up like that and now my 9900 runs 1046

anyone figure this out......I am GOOD with hybrids and willing to try any.....but I'm at a loss with how to do this.....I have tried it following the pics and nothing......I have a 9930.....what does it add?

After installing this hybrid, I have the dialling pad like shown on the picture, led customized colors, pictures in 3 per line, not 4.
When device is password locked it has a menu that shows "Take a picture"
