If you load the newest leak 1725 and install the radio file from 810 it works.

Can anyone comment on the downsides to downgrading the radiofile from 10.2.0.1725 to the .810/811 version?

Obviously I'd like to have T-Mobile wifi calling back but will I get worse reception, dropped calls, battery drain, etc if I go back to. 810?
Where can I find a comparison?

Searching the 1725 thread only gives me "811 works", and nothing as to battery life or performance. Only loading and testing the 811 radio would determine that, looks like.

I am using an unlocked Z10 on Solavei (T-Mobile). Since my phone was originally branded ATT, how do I get the T-Mobile WiFi calling app?

The .bar file for the T-Mobile WiFi Calling app is somewhere around the forums. Search for it.

OK, I installed the bar file (first one ever) using DDPB. I put the phone in developer mode and ran the software. What no one seems to say in their youtube tutorials is if you need a debug token and if you take the phone out of developer mode after the installation is complete.

It's a bar already, so you don't need a debug token. And as for developer mode, turn it off once you're done sideloading.

You don't need a debug token for the T-Mobile wifi calling app.

And when your done sideloading you can turn off development mode. It's not a big deal but it's good practice as well as a reboot.

Does anyone know of a way to enable this for Q10?

I was under the understanding that .811 only works on Z10's?

.811 or .810 both work. One is for Z10 the other is for Q10. Forgot which is which!

Can someone please explain how I can get the 10.2.0.1725 radio back if I don't like the 810/811 radio?
Is it as simple as sideloading? For 811/810, I have an autoloader (810radio.exe file) that does the work...
A link would be awesome. Thanks.

Has anyone been able to get the T-mobile WI-FI calling app to work on any of the leaked 10.2 OS
T-Mobile, Z10, STL100-3, Installed 10.2.0.1725_STL-234 leak with radio file that came with it, no problems with wi-fi calling at all, other than not having the wi-fi calling app. In my experience the app is not mandatory.
Prior to that I installed the leaked (10.2.0.1371_STL234_full) with the radio file that came with it. Never had to play with the radio files at all. Never experienced any problems with wi-fi calling not working. There is no indication on the screen that it is working, other than the wi-fi indicator being on and band speed (lte, 4g, 3g etc) indicator being off. There is a bar I go to that the T-Mobile signal just doesn't come through, when I turn on wi-fi, get their password, Bamm! No worries, no problem placing or receiving a call, placing or receiving text, no problem on the web. Hope this helps!

Download the 1726 radio (check the Radio Archive thread, or my signature). It's a .signed file, so you need to make an autoloader with Sachesi, Darcy's tools or cap.

This is the first time I have heard of any success with wifi calling on 10.2 - excellent news indeed - however, early in the latest leaked 10.2 forum, it was indicated that wifi calling definitely does not work. Any idea why the berryleak guys say it doesn't work but you seem to have had no problems with it?

All I am doing is responding to the question asked, perhaps it is becuse the phone is branded t-Mobile I don,t know.--- I do know after I have installed the 10.2 leaks, the phone also installs the carrier specific software- in my case TMobile, when this happens it does tell me that wi-fi calling is enabled. There is no obvious control for it on my phone (like it was on my 9860. I have stated what has been and is working for me! Just trying to help!

Just thinking- everybody has been focusing on installing the wi-fi app., Maybe the key is having the t-mobile sim card installed and wi-fi calling enabled on the account would make a difference. I never had the app installed under the 10.2 leaks. I have just always loaded the leaks, and when the carrier specific software loads after that it loads the wi-fi calling stuff automatically. However it does NOT load nor does it require the wi-fi calling app.

As far as I know wifi calling is not an account feature. I'm running 10.2 leak so far no wifi calling on T mobile US Z10 with T mobile US sim. My wife has same except uses stock OS. She got prompted last week for OS update. Downloaded and now Wifi calling works.

Do you have a screen shot of the wifi calling icon working on the latest leak? Like I said earlier, the only way I could get it to work is to load the. 810 radio file.
