Hello,

So apparently my Playbook's screen is broken. The screen will not turn on when I push the power button, but the actual device is on. I can hear the keyboard clicking when I touch certain parts of the screen and the alarm will go off at the set time. I was wondering though...if I were to plug an HDMI cable into the Playbook and connect it to a TV, would I be able to see the screen on the TV? I was just wondering if this would work before I go out to buy the cable. If anyone knows, that would be great. Thanks.

Yes. If you already have an hdmi cable, a micro adapter should also work.

The screen can be seen on the TV if you can manage to get the HDMI turned on, Not sure how to do this if the HDMI is off and you can't access it.

Don't remember that being the case. I have used the PB with HDMI on both a TV and a monitor and seem to remember that I had to turn on the setting on the PB. But will check again tomorrow.
