I was just wondering who owns a q10. I'm 17 I got a q10 because I love the keyboard and basic down to business idea of it. It helps me get things done. I know this might not sound like what typical 17 year olds look for in a smartphone but I just like the fact that I can shoot off emails text and bbms. Btw I have friends all over the world so I think blackberry helps with that too. But my point is I'd like to know who here owns a q10, and what kind of person you are? What do you use it for? Oh and I haven't had a blackberry for a while so add me.

Took me a while to upgrade from BBOS, but decided on the Q10 over the Z. To me nothing like typing on a physical keyboard. Got Q's for my wife and I, and could never go back. Amazing phone.

Do a lot of emailing, text and BBM. Nothing comes close to the level of productivity I get with this device.

BlackBerry really is for people who want to get stuff done.

Just got mine yesterday, first day of sales at Sprint. They opened at 10 am, I came in by 11:45 and I was the second Q10 sale of the day. 1 phone per hour, not bad. Guy that sold the phone to me was the store "advocate" for the BB phones. They get a free upgrade to the Z30 when it comes out, supposedly some time at or after Thanksgiving. Lucky advocates...

I am an engineer and use my phone mainly for calls and texting with occasional forays onto the internet (news, weather, etc). Welcome to BB10. The Q10 I have found to be an awesome phone - texting is easy, call clarity is outstanding and reception is better than my BB Style.

I have two more line upgrades due - when the Z30 releases, I'll be picking up one of those as well.

I'm a 30 yr businessman with active roles in two businesses. I get a ton of emails so the Q10 is perfect. I'm also a big tech nut. I'm using both the Q10 and ip5. The IP5 will be the last apple product I buy unless blackberry phones don't exist anymore.

I think BB is mostly owned by business men since buz companies do at times buy bb phones for their employees. That said, they are still the dedicated bunch who have been using bb since the old days . celebrities like Usain bolt, Katy perry and nicki Minaj have bb for work purposes too.

I'm in Real Estate and use my Q10 for emails, text and the occasional Web journey for the weather or to check Real estate sites. I really enjoy having a physical keyboard again as I'm coming from an iPhone. It's been a learning curve but I'm getting there.

I bought my first BlackBerry in 2006. No one beyond businessmen and celebrities seemed to know what one was, but I was searching for something I could use for word processing and a primary modem.

To this day, I still use a BlackBerry for the same purpose. Do I think you are unusual for wanting a BlackBerry because of your age? Who am I to judge, as I've always marched to the beat of a different drummer?

I have two Q10's; the second I won through the Keys To The City sweepstakes, barely a month after acquiring my first one.

I realize I skipped over my point...and that is, no matter the age, you need the device YOU feel most comfortable with and that meets YOUR needs. In the end, you live with that decision and no one else. Even in my thirties, I'm still learning that lesson. It'd be nice to think I could teach my children--or someone else, otherwise.

...now if only I could follow my own advice.

But of all my decisions, a purchase of a BlackBerry has never been a negative one.

I'm a 37 and working in web development business. Have been using iOS and Android for the longest time. Switched to Q10 as I have always wanted to own a BlackBerry with physical keyboard, been using it as a sole device for 4+month and loving it more each day! Turbo Client app covers nicely all my development works and I code faster with the keyboard, esp with the sym key. Q10 got everything I need and nothing I don't.

I'm 37 and got my first BlackBerry 2 years ago - 9900. Everyone I know has the galaxy and OH laughs at me for my BlackBerry but I love it. I mainly do emails, facebook and internet and find the keyboard easier to type on.

Funnily enough, my son has a Galaxy Tab but likes playing on my Playbook and now likes my Q10. The 9900 wasn't really suitable for games but the Q10 is.

I'm a 30-year old CCO handling the marketing departments of a foundation and an IT consultancy firm. I'm actually going back to BlackBerry (with the Q10) from an iPhone 5. I have to honestly admit that I do miss the app and game choices, but I'm happy with the Q10. I chose it because the physical keyboard is still preferable over the touch keyboards. I use BBM a whole lot and also use Docs to Go to take care of paperwork on the go. I actually play a lot of games on the Q10 and am happy with what little games I did manage to buy. I always consider myself a gadgetphile and can normally be counted on to have the latest gadgets and smartphones. Over the years, despite the many brands I've tried, I still keep coming back to the BB and am thoroughly satisfied with my Q10.

I have been using my Q10 just over a month now and still find myself just playing with it at times just because I like it. I use it for a lot of email/text doc, and social media and am very happy coming from my s3. Wouldn't go back.

I love my Q10 and have had it since launch day as I updated my two year old Bold 9780. BlackBerry has the best e-mail reliability & User Interface. Eevything is, there. And basic. However, it allows you to do what you need to..

I don't need to change how bright the led is, or how many times it can blink in 5 seconds etcc.. it's useless in my opinion... haha

Well, I use my Q10 during weekdays. it's easy to send emails,BBMs,and texts don't need to worry about auto correct, and formatting.. (no need to hide the keyboard like Z10). ... 90-100 emails per day.. but on weekends I use z10... Q10 is beast when it comes down to battery, and Communication

Fulltime IT leader and Fulltime mom of three kids. Got the Z10 first to try bb10 bc iOS was getting stale and boring and never looked back. The biggest step was when I traded my iphone for a Q10 this past week. Never thought I'd part with my iphone. I wasn't even sad. Loving the Q10 and will switch between the two devices now and hope that BlackBerry comes out on the other end alive.
