I connect to my WiFi on the Z10 fine usually.
If the WiFi is left on I can leave the house and walk to another WiFi spot and it connects fine;
returning to mine it also re-connects.
Both are protected and I have stored both passwords.
But if my WiFi is turned off say overnight whilst my Z10 is connected, the following day on restarting the Wifi the Z10 is not connected. Settings show this.
To get a reconnect I must reboot the Z10.
What's the difference between leaving the WiFi on, leaving the house and returning.
And switching the WiFi off overnight?
The former reconnects and the latter doesn't; it's a puzzle.

It has a priority queue built into the device, where it will try whatever is in your queue over and over and if it doesn't find it, it will just simply disable that connection to save battery life. The difference is when you leave your house it finds another WiFi connection and if you actually connect to it then that one becomes the priority so at that point, there is no need to disable your house one because it wasn't in range anyway for it to be continuously trying to the point where it disables it.

tl;dr: It stops looking for the house wifi after a number of times of not being able to connect to save you battery life.
