I agree, it's more then just a typo though. Not only are they calling the Z10 the X10. They are calling it an Android phone

The typo is just the icing on the cake of the fact that it is front and center on a sign that is clearly meant to attract buyers to "Free Androids!!"

Big fail. What's weird though, my mate told me the same thing. He was all "Well, BlackBerry is Android now, isn't it". I wonder where they're getting their information from..

..and subsequently **** off even more people when they find that new X10 isn't actually Android. I assure you the blame will be placed on BlackBerry.

As to the ad though, it is a mistake not some sort of nefarious plot. I have seen things like this happen all the time for god knows how many products. Chalk it up to human fallibility highly and some overpaid person in the proofing department. What is astounding is that apparently not one single person where that ad is displayed noticed it is incorrect.

Fired? For making a correctable (pull ads replace with correct ones) mistake. Must be nice to live in your world where everything is dead solid perfect...

Probably from all the android app 'sideloading' chatter on sites like this one.
    ...
And now signs like that one...

The real question is: was your mate more or less open to at least checking it out because he thought it was an Android device?

The sign is a fitting statement with regard to Blackberry, Android and side loading.

The message is: We don't know what we are.

    lol

This just goes to show how little respect they have for Blackberry.

Granted, they may have mistaken the 'Z10' for an 'X10' but to tout it as an Android device alongside actual Android devices speaks volumes for the brand! smh

I guess they figured that if it's all touch then it must be android. Everyone has the right to be stupid every once in a while...These guys just abused the privilege.

BTW. You should have asked when the new X10 was to be launched...

There's something else not right -- it's grouped with the Droid Incredible. Really? That phone is well over three years old! The Photon Q is no spring chicken either, but it's only a year old.
