Mine rattle like maraca. I'm wondering if I wedge something between them it will quite them down.
What affect will it have? What are they for? They obviously connect to the back cover.

Thanks. Since nfc is near useless in the US, until google wallet works on BlackBerry I suppose I will just wedge something in there to shut it up

In case you way want to know, NFC is a standard that google wallet uses, but it has much broader implementation.
For example, I have a NFC tag on my night stand that I programmed to turn off wifi and mobile radio when I touch it (go to bed). Another one in my car to turn off WiFi and on BT and so on.

Yep not supposed to rattle with the back cover on. Return it. Demand a new one as yours is defective.

Yes. Rattles with back cover on. The sad thing is, I already returned the Q once because the screen made this weird sticky sound when I touched it.

The screen on the new one is fine, just the rattling contacts are annoying.

My Q is the best made BlackBerry I've ever owned. Tight, no rattles, no complaints at all. If yours is rattling it's a bad unit. Replace it, or see about perhaps a replacement battery cover.
