    Bought my z10 on sunday (verizon) and now i understand why alot of ppl here in the US dnt go for bb.
    As soon as i got to the store i told the sales guy i was there because my upgrade was due and that i was getting a blackberry Z10..ohh lawwd he went all crazy about it saying all this BS why i shouldnt buy the phone and that i was basically going to regret it and that i should get a damn galaxy and i told him that i didnt wanna hear what he had to tell me and that i was there for my Z10 and he got all **** hurt
    No wonder why you dnt really see ppl buying these phones

    I've actually been seeing alot of posts where satisfied BB users have mentioned that the sales persons are saying how bad BB phones are and stuff..
    Seems like they're paid to say bad things about BlackBerry.. Unprofessional man..

    It seems Samsung and Apple must have gone to bed with the majority of sales reps...

    Even when I bought a LG TV and the BestBuy rep told me to buy a Samsung one because LG's technology is not good. And when I went to Sears to look for a laundry and dryer set, the sales rep only showed me all the Samsung products and never talked about Kenmore, LG, Whirlpool, Maytag etc.

    This problem seems to be rampant here in the U.S. ...or at least reported a lot here on the forums.

    I can't believe that it's not against the rules to slander a company like that. You'd think that carriers wouldn't allow their reps to say these things.

    Yes. It is quite sad. I just order phones online. Easier and saves listening to someone that likely knows less about the tech than I do.

    That is so disappointing to hear. Thankfully I did not have to deal with that when I bought my Q10. The guy at best buy did not try to change my mind at all. He really did not try to sway me either way actually.

    I just order my over the internet . No discussions with salespersons. Although, I have a lot of friends who are looking at me, like I'm freaking out of my mind. I have the Z10 now for approx. 4 wks and love it. My friend who has a old BB laughed her a** of when I told her I bought a Z10 until she saw it Eh.... that doesn't even look like I BB..... damn that one looks nice. I want one. Gonna ask the boss

    I have the same experience when I bought my Q10 and what makes worst is the store manager assisted me tried to sway me getting my Q10. He says this cr@p about BlackBerry Q10 and I explained to him that he does not to worry about me getting my Q10 I know what I'm getting and I know how to deal with it because Im with the crackberry club. Then he said what's crackberry? And I educate him about our forum which he said wish he knew about it and he's interested to join.

    I hope I have convinced him not to bashing BlackBerry when someone visit the store and looking to get one.

    I've had mine for 4 weeks now. It is a fantastic phone. Still learning everything it can do. My friend just got her Q10 this week. This is a great place to learn everything your phone can do.

    Here in Australia, I heard a staff member tell someone the Z10 was okay but there are better phones out there, they said the Sony Xperia SR would be a good choice for them

    I almost stuck my nose in and asked the staff member if they were trying to get rid of old stock.
