I have a PlayBook but the screen cracked. I did get a lot of use out of it but I feel it's outdated now so I don't want to buy another one. Is there a tablet you can recommend that will compliment the Q10?

Apple - iPad (pick a size)
Android - Nexus 7, Sony Xperia S or Samsung Galaxy Tab
Windows - Microsoft Surface, Lenovo Idea Tab
Now the question is what do you want to get out of the tablet / what do you want to do? How much do you want to spend?

Best tablet to complement BlackBerry 10 is a Windows 8 pro tablet, as you can use remote file acces, BlackBerry Link, use it for sideloading,...

I don't have a preference really between IOS and Android. I'm looking for something bigger then 7inches. Microsoft is cool but I haven't used anything windows since Vista, so I don't know how good or bad the windows 8 tablets are.

samsung makes a really nice 8 inch android model. I myself opted for a Nook HD+ since it has full android playstore access and under $200

Windows is a tablet I'm looming at too. Been thinking of getting the Surface. U have a Playbook too, but BlackBerry doesn't seem to be offering advancements as far as updates go, so its I am looking at my options.
Windows seems to be what will work best for me.

I didn't know you could remote access from a Blackberry to a Windows Tablet. I think my decision just got sealed and confirmed.

I know this may be far fetched but can a windows tablet or any tablet run a C++ compiler?

    Maybe this helps:
Intel Releases C++ Compiler for Android

    Download C/C++ Compiler.apk for Android

Command line C++ compiler in Windows 8

Well obviously the playbook offers the best integration, even if it is not going to be upgraded I would not count it out as an option. After that I would definitely go with the Windows tablet, as at least you can use Link etc and dnla will work with your Q10 etc.

I would personally stay away from the RT and go with a full windows tablet that will give you just about everything a Win8 desktop will.

On a windows 8 pro you can install any PC software you like (including BlackBerry Link, QDE for developing BlackBerry Apps,... ) run any *.exe (including Autoloader for leaked BlackBerry OS)...

Bad side: Expensive and not as compact as other tablets. But you can even take a look at the Lenovo Thinkpad tablet2 which is a lot more easy to carry around!

I'm holding out to see what Blackberry 's plans are before purchasing a new tablet. If in fact they aren't releasing a new tablet of their own, which seems to be the case then im hoping they develop Blackberry app for android or Windows 8 that gives us blackberry bridge on those tablets.

If it includes blackberry core apps for the tablet that would be great. But the most important thing to be is the always on Internet connection. That's a feature I'm going to miss emensly from having my BlackBerry paired to my playbook. Having mobile hot sport on constantly is too battery heavy, enabling tethering every time I want to use the tablet too annoying. And I refuse to subscribed to a separate data plan for a tablet when I have a phone constantly on in my pocket.

Didn't the CEO say tablets are 'dead'? I don't think Blackberry will make one. I do hope they create a bridge app for other tablets. I mean BBM is going cross platform... this is something they should consider.
