    What is the icon for that is by the LTE symbol, it looks like a microphone. I have it sometimes and then it is gone. Just wondering what it could be for.

    I'd say it looks more like a key.. but i've never seen it before.

    Do you have VPN turned on? That looks similar to the key in the VPN icon, although that contains a globe and key.

    I've never seen it, but I did a search through the 'help' files on my device and found a key icon....it is horizontal, not vertical, but according to the help files, the description reads, "This member is an administrator for the group," referring to BBM groups. Worst case, you can always try to reboot the phone and see if you get a prompt to unlock an app. Good luck with this, and please report back.

    That group admin key icon is something diffrent.

    Someone may have been on to something when they said parental lock.. have you checked to see if you accidentally enabled anything like that OP?

    VoLTE isn't even being mentioned by Rogers at this point, and I haven't seen anything pointing towards the Z10 being capable of using that technology. At any rate, it would be weird that this capability would be appearing on a random phone owned by a member of the public.

    Download the image and zoom in on it. The bottom edge of the icon is squiggly, like a key.

    I don't think it's a microphone.

    Also, network symbols on our phones usually bear some semblance to their parent technology... 3G, H, LTE...represent 3G, HSPA, and LTE, respectively. "Microphone LTE" doesn't really work as elegantly at describing VoLTE.

    Some digging turned this icon up for VoLTE:
