So BlackBerry World went down for maintenance for a few hours, and low and behold, it was for an update!

So here is what's new (from what I've seen so far):

When Searching, this is what shows up:
(Left - Top of Search) (Right - Scrolled down a bit to NEW Built for BlackBerry Section)
New BlackBerry World Update! (Pics Inside)-img_20131096.jpg New BlackBerry World Update! (Pics Inside)-img_20131095.jpg
A new "Built for BlackBerry" Apps and Games result! WOOHOO! THANK YOU BLACKBERRY - MUCH needed!

Also, before - Once you downloaded an App or Game, the images and description would disappear. Not anymore!

So from what I have seen so far, it's nothing MAJOR, but it's DEFINITELY a step in the right direction, so for that, thank you BlackBerry

Small but important steps in the right direction. Glad to see they're really listening to us and improving their response time. Thanks for sharing.

Have they included a list for all Built for BlackBerry apps? Cause previously, the list would show at most 20 results I think. I'm pretty sure there are more than that. If they haven't, the Built for BlackBerry tab should include all BFB apps and games

Looks like the silly maps apps don't clutter the front page anymore! That's a huge plus too!

Also instead of scrolling down to press on the devs name to go to their list of apps, you can just tap the overflow menu and see more of their apps or access their website

I haven't received any notification for this new update as of yet. Bummer. Probably being rolled out incrementally.
Can someone look into the settings and please let me know what the new version number for this update is?

    TIA

I didn't get an update either. I thought it had something to do with the server maintenance during the night

    Thanks!

The Contact Developer option is gone. Now, the only way of contacting a developer is by going to their website. I don't like that.

The "Contact Developer" option is located in the overflow menu instead of on the main application page.

Good step for BlackBerry world. They modified the website for built for BlackBerry apps too. They should add the option to include user manuals and videos for apps like Google Play store allows. Nice to see the higher profile and marketing for built for BlackBerry apps though. Devs that make those deserve it.
