Ugh I hate the music player. If I press the mute key I can't hear anything obviously. But then there's no off mute. It sucks. Are there any solutions or perhaps an app that's better!? Thanks

Nuetron is good.


But I don't understand your problem.


The center key on the side is a play, pause button for music.

Hit it once, it pauses, hit it again and it plays.


I have never had an issue.

Oh. And it works the same in Neutron so if that is your gripe, Neutron won't help.

Explain to me why thats not the case with earphones? I use the apple ear pods maybe that's the problem idk

So when you say mute key, you really mean the pause/play button on the headphones, correct?

If that is what you meant, then I have been able to use the play/pause button with the default music app using:
-default BlackBerry headphones
-Apple earphones
-Apple earpods
-Plantronics BackBeat GO Bluetooth headphones
-And the one I am using now - Jaybird Bluebuds X Bluetooth Headphones Review

Okay I'm listening to music with my ear pods. I can press the pause key on my ear pods and everything is fine. But when I press the pause/mute key on my Z10. The music stops and it won't play again. I.have to close the music app and then reopen it. Or the music shows that's it's playing but I can't hear anything at all and when I press play or pause on my phone it just status with the pause symbol on

Okay, so you are saying using the headphone play/pause button works. You are able to pause the music, and then play the music with the headphones.

But when you use the play/pause button on the phone between the volume buttons, it only pauses the song, you are not able to play the song again when you press the play/pause button on the phone.

I tried a couple different head sets (different brands) with the built in pause button just now, worked fine

The play/pause between the volume rockers works fine also

OP, are you having issues with the head set play/pause button only or also with the play/pause button between the rockers?

I use apple war pods and they work fine with my less than fine Z10.
