    I've been having some problems with my text messages. Maybe it's just me being a new BlackBerry user and I'm doing something wrong, or maybe there is a glitch of some sort.

    On numerous occasions, my text messages with form group texts, but with the same person. For example, lets say I have a conversation with John Smith, and a separate conversation with Jane Doe. My conversation with John Smith will say: "This convo will be in MMS mode" then it will say "2 Participants: John Smith and John Smith". My Jane Doe window will say "This convo will be in MMS mode" and again "2 Participants: Jane Doe and Jane Doe"

    I cannot remove one of them, and I'm not sure how this is happening in the first place! Any help?

    Thank you! I appreciate you looking for me. I'm trying to pay attention if I'm hitting a key or something which is causing it, but I can't seem to catch anything!

    I remember reading that this was an issue back when the Z10 first came out with the early 10.0 OS versions. But not since the updates to 10.1.

    What OS version are you running?

    I had the same problem and had to delete a whole old conversation in fear of messages to one person being relayed to the other... lost all the old messages I would have liked to keep.

    If that's the mr release I think there was a problem with contacts, check on here they probably have a fix by now.
    OR you could try a leak they are freaking great.

    I was having the problem as well. It started spontaneously with just one contact--one of my daughters--a week or so ago, and then, with the 10.1.0.4189 upgrade I did this morning (by Link), it resolved itself. Haven't seen it with any other contacts, but will keep an eye out.
