Recently (3 weeks ago) I purchased a BlackBerry Z10/AT&T.

When I charge my Z10 with the OEM Charger that came in the box, when first plugged I get a message on the screen saying:

"To charge your device faster, use the charger that came with this device."

Why does it say that if I am using the OEM Charger that came with the device??? I can close it out but its annoying having to do so every time and whilst knowing its an OEM charger? Any tips or help would be much appreciated.

Your charger isn't giving enough juice, I'd take it back to your vendor and exchange it. I get the same message with my 12v in car charger from my legacy BB.

Not necessarily the case. There are about 500 threads on this subject. What os version are you running? The message no longer shows on 10.1 unless I'm sure a major issue exists. Definitely haven't seen it with any charger (even the ones I used to get it on before updated os) since 10.1 and 10.2 leaks.

Running official 10.1 latest update for this phone using AT&T.
