I can't imagine the Canadian government letting BlackBerry go to the Chinese.

Ever since ex-MSFT beancounter Elop wiped out almost 40% of its value in one speech (given at least a year too early) I expect Nokia to end up in (partial or full) MSFT ownership.

Easily. The expression you want to learn about is "leveraged buyout" aka, LBO.

The most I can see Lenovo doing with BlackBerry is PARTNERING on the handset side, and maybe taking a significant equity position to do it.

Personally, I think they'd make a great partner, but they're already experiencing phenomenal growth on their own. I'm skeptical that they even feel a need for BB.

They need to push into phones. They.have Android but might want to be less dependant on Google - I can see them maybe partnering up like you said but not a full buyout, I agree.

I have no idea what that means... is it even English? Or is it a foreign expression that does not really work in English...? Seriously.

Seriously, as a Jew I fully comprehend the Santa reference. Let's try it this way:

Cut the crap, or face the consequences.

    Clear enough?
