So the title says it all... a poll if you will.
I remember owning most popular motorola "feature" phones but also did "smarter" phones such as Sony/Ericsson walkman phones, to even the HUGE HP iPaq phones with Windows Phone OS back when NOBODY was even considering mobile computing like these guys did. Then of course i was a iPhone 1ST and 2nd GEN user and then jumped to BlackBerry Curve 8330 and from that point on its all been BB's: 9800, 9900, PlayBook and now the Z10...

So given the recent news surrounding BB, I have been asking myself what platform would I choose if BlackBerry suddenly disappeared COMPLETELY from the map.... Not that I would ever want that to happen, but just curious what platform would be the (second) best choice for business, messaging and social media which is what I mostly do. Apps are important but secondary to me. I'm somewhat of an ANTI-APPLE guy so it's either Android or Windows for me... Android looks too complicated and unsafe, Windows i have not actually tested myself. what do you guys think?

I would head on back to Android. Maybe S4 or One X, whatever it is.

Windows without a doubt as that is what my personal device is.

P.S. An actual poll would have been useful. (I think you can edit the thread to add one.)

iOS... easy choice. Lesser chance of a rogue developer taking all my info. Plus, the iPhone build quality is very nice.

Bbos would be useless. Without bbrys servers all it would do is make calls and texts and take notes and play brickbreaker

iOS - become "one of them" lol, then probably try Windows. I've used Android, so I'm in no rush to go back to that

The funny thing is, that every hardcore anti-Apple guy Ive ever known, once they got to USE an iPhone, got converted in a matter of weeks. Occasionally months.

Then they get an iPad. And an Apple TV. And so it begins.

That's why so many people here hate ios and think bbry is best. They have never tried it. Or tried looking to hate it. It's sad to see people argue about features they think set bbry apart. Not knowing they are industry standard features.

Hard to beat the value of the Nexus devices, especially if they continue their low price trend.
However, I'm curious about Unbuntu and if I'm not mistaken it will also be able to run Android apps...

I'll see what's going on at that time. No need to decide yet and there is some time.

It's like with everything else in life. You pay a discount price, you get a discount product. Nexus7, Nexus10 and Nexus4 aren't exceptions.

Everyone I know with a Nexus7 report big performance depredations over time.

Most of you here can not even allow yourself to admit that you would go to iOS or Android. It must hurt so bad.
