Hello all, first post and I just had a couple of specific questions for current Z10 users - mostly centring around the music player.

1. Does this play music encoded in AAC?

2. Does this play back gaplessly (I have a number of mixed/live albums and some where they are produced to have small segues between tracks)?

3. Is music artwork easy to correct on the phone if incorrect?

4. Is the Facebook app useable? I know until it was natively coded, that the Android FB app was utterly dreadful.

5. Is there a built in "note" app, preferably with password encryption?

6. Does it play nicely with GMail/Outlook.com/Skydrive?

7. Is there an in-private browser mode?

8. Can it sync Google Contacts (big hope - not expecting a yes)?

9. Does it have the Dots game lol?

Sorry to bomb with questions - I do like the look of what I've seen so far, but these things aren't really covered in reviews.

I can't answer most of your questions, I'm running to work so I can't do some digging, but I DO KNOW that fixing incorrect album art is fairly simple. There is also a private browsing option in the native browser, which is simple to engage. It also has a note app called remember, but I haven't a clue about password protection

As far as I can tell, yes

With 10.2 it is really nice and usable imho

Yes and the browser is best in class

Yes- as far as I can tell

wtf is that? I don't really play games...

From my experience (Q5)
BB10 has very good integration with Google services: gmail, contacts, calendar.
On 10.1 the music player is far from good, but you can use neutron player from BBWorld - works great, not sure for AAC, personally using FLAC.
I'm not heavy user of Facebook but built in app does it well, including chat.
Note app - BlackBerry Remember (can add account from Evernote).
Built in intrnet browser is one of the best, really. Never used in-private mode on phone

1. It plays movies I sideload with AAC audio no problem, so I assume YES for music. But don't hold me to that.

4. I like it. I'm an occasional Facebook user however. I do know there have been several updates. Initially people were pretty unhappy with the app, but I haven't read a lot of posts lately complaining about it.
5. Remember, which syncs with Evernote, is a built in note app, fully integrated. Great app, btw.
6. Yes. For SkyDrive, I don't think there's an app. But through BBLink you can share the SkyDrive folder on your PC. Also, there's apps like "Files and Folders", "PlayCloud" that handle cloud storage beautifully (including SkyDrive).
7. There's an option for "Private Browsing" in the settings.
8. Yes, no problems.
9. If you mean "Dots and Boxes", then yes.

When 10.2 is released, there will be many improvements - you could install a leaked OS to get the benefits sooner.

Oh, yes you can. I have most of mt music in AAC and it plays just fine in the native player
