just a heads up that perpetual licensing will be EOL soon.....I'm assuming they are switching to strictly annual/renewal licenses. Snatch em up while you can.

Yes the program for that is ending soon. (It is quite possible it will be extending, but no way to know that yet). Great heads up.

Yes good thought. We are aware of that and off loading some of our inventory.

I've just set up a besx for my old blackberry and rather like what I've found. I have a q10 and am very interested in bes10, but I realise there is a cost associated with taht software unlike besx. What are those costs, and is it a good idea to jump now to get perpetual licenses? I only need the 1 as I'm the only blackberry user in the house. If I later wanted to control android devices is there extra licensing cost involved?

All BES CALs to buy from 10.1 onwards will be annual licenses. The only way to get perpetual 10.1 CALs is to trade up from 10.0 CALs which were perpetual (and in turn were likely traded up from BES5 CALs using the trade-up program), or in the 3 for 1 offer if you activate a perpetual CAL you get another two free.
    BES10.1 CAL costs are:
BES10.1 EMM Corporate Blackberry Device Service CAL from now will be $59/year.
BES10.1 Secure Blackberry Device Service CAL will be $99/year.
BES10.1 EMM Corporate iOS/Android CAL will be $59/year.
BES10.1 EMM Secure Workspace iOS/Android will be $99/year.
