Create a mobile hotspot from your second device, it will popup as wifi access point on your z10.


Make sure you have the time apn settings

AT&T told you the phone was only good for text and call services? That's BS. You just need to add a data plan. There is no more BIS for the OS10 models.

Well he wanted a data plan on his phone, so by "I got it" we can only hope he was talking about getting a data plan. There isn't anything to fix, his device was never broken...

Unless you mean him fixing the carrier's disposition towards the Z10?

I got the BB symbol here. LTE too. Obviously AT&T can do it.

Yes, this is an AT&T issue. They told you that you have only voice and text - but not data. Check your plan online and see what shows up under "data".

My data plan is "Unlimited BlackBerry Personal for LTE". You probably can't get the unlimited data, but that plan comes in the various tiered versions they offer.

It will, of course, be an additional charge.

Edit: okay, for some reason I'm not seeing my own attached image in the CB 10 app, but it shows up in the browser. Is that just how it works? It was my first attempt attaching an image with the app.

But my BlackBerry model is stl-1 and im using the Gophone sim from AT&T maybe thats y it doesnt work with me, oh well

Would have helped to know about that in the first place.

That's been discussed elsewhere on the forums about problems getting data working on prepaid plans. Something about not getting the right APN settings. Some worked, but some didn't. I certainly can't help with that issue.
