I don't know how but it's happened. It randomly disappeared one day so maybe there is a gesture for it.

There is one app so far I've seen which hides the bar. It's called IP Cam Viewer and I got it from BlackBerry World.

I am using IPCam Viewer and I can confirm that the bar is still there. How do you get rid of it in IPCam Viewer?

    Hello,

    I have STL-1, 10.2.0.1047, with 810 runtime.
For me if I run android app, the bottom bar with back option is not showing. If I slide from the top of the screen, appear the app menu, not the bottom bar with back option.
In that case, without the back button, in many situations I have no way to out. I must close the app, because no back option.

What is the solution? I need the back option available!

    Thanks in advance.

Guys the bar is not fixed,it's a native call by Android apps...think abt Google's redesign...they introduced an option icon with 3dots and back button is present in all droids,if there's no such buttons...the onscreen button pops up....
BlackBerry just thinks abt the native design language and applies it accordingly...

Don't know what they're called but by what you say would you have the option to hide the bar using one of those android task manager/option setup programs some have sideloaded?

When I open the app it goes to grid view. I touch nothing and the bar goes away in 5 seconds.

What I said is the Devs who port android apps to BB10 can implement a function not to show the bar...

When did something that happens in a software program that I want to happen become clarified as a bug?

I say the bar disappearing is good! lol - why can't this issue be one BlackBerry never get around to "fixing".

    I jest.

The bar can be hidden by the Android app itself if the developer enables that function within the app, so yes it can be hidden, that is the way 4.2 works
