After the initial file indexing for search, the battery is acceptable. The battery consumption runs anywhere from 5% to 10% per hour. It is still a far cry from the legacy device like 9810 where I could get 2-3% per hour.

I'm finding it to be terrible but I'm quite certain it has more to do with the Facebook update more than the OS.

After a 100% to 0% drain in 5 hours on standby and airplane mode the first night after installing, the battery life has improved and has since then been great.

10.1 already had food to great battery life for me, but 10.2 improved even that.

Moderate use gives me 14 to 18 hours, heavy use 8 to 12... no problem lasting a full working day...

And it seems the drainage when not in use is improved most.

Funny you mention that. I don't even use Facebook, and I was getting marginal battery life. I spotted the Facebook usage in the app manager, deleted the program and am getting much better performance.

Mine got better after a few days, the wife has seen some weird battery life the last two days though... haven't hunted it down just yet. We both have various sideloads, etc. Overall no complaints though for something that is unofficial, we are both happy.

I was on 1047 for a week. I tried 810 and 1047 runtimes...I could make it a max 8 hrs... on 10.1.0.4xxx I can get 12-14...

It is a leak and everyones use is different.

I am back on 10.1. Need the better battery life.
