So I've had my Q10 for about 2 months now and so far it's doing well, sadly dropped it a few times but it's holding up well. I've just noticed though only on vulnerable parts of the phone e.g four corners, that the "rubbery feel" is peeling off a bit, very minorly. I won't lie, underneath the glass weave looks brilliant but will this wear get worse and will I lose a lot of my grip?

Anyone else find this? I'm posting a few pictures of it.

Same on mine, have dropped it a few times.

Doesn't seem to be as extensive as on yours though...

Never dropped mine, still perfect since early June, about 2 months now with no case.

This is what I was trying to explain in one of my previous posts. Glad i'm not the only one. I just keep mine cases and ignored it. Just thinking about replacing the back later one like I've have done with all my other blackberries. The housing isn't that expensive on eBay.

Your very first sentence said that you have "dropped it a few times" .....

I would just buy a new battery door if it bothers you. And then get a case? I like the look of the Q10 with no case, and I have dropped my Q10 a few times too, but mine had a case on, so nothing happened to the phone itself.

The BlackBerry hardshell case is a really nice case. Still has the metallic BlackBerry logo visible, and the case fits perfectly on the phone.

Had mine since launch day, dropped more times than I can count (or want to admit), and not a scratch can be found. I'm quite impressed with the durability of this thing. Sorry you haven't experienced the same; though the wear-spots don't seem that bad.

You're welcome. No comment is irrelevant. By the way, the fact is that you did drop it. Dropping is not normal wear and tear for a phone. A ball yes, phone no. Just to clear it up and make it relevant to your post.

Dropping not from standing height as in it falling out my hand onto the counter, I don't drop it on concrete floors but it has had a minor hit. I just want to find out if anyone else's feel is wearing a bit. Doesn't bother me, I replace my phone very often but was just curious

Yes but **** does happen and in a busy day, in a rush or just general everyday encounters things sometimes get "dropped"
