So I came in to my local att to check out the q10 even tho I already have a white z10...all is good when I enter until I try to use the phone...much to my dismay the q10 isn't even charged and even worse there's no charger cable attached to it...I then check all the other phones next to it and they are all fully charged with a charging cable in as well...i shouldn't have to snatch another cable to charge a phone on display...man I was so furious I couldn't believe this...im tired of the no love BlackBerry is getting but I guess they brought it upon themselves...BlackBerry for life tho

This is an example why US sales are crap, BlackBerry is the black sheep of the carriers and mobile retail (like Bestbuy) .
When I bought my Z10, the sales reps at Bestbuy looked at me as if I asked for porn.

You're right it isn't a big deal it was jus really frustrating of all days that I have the time off to go in and of all phones it was the q10...I didn't even get a chance to try out the q10 bc the charging cable they had was crap and the battery was completely drained -_-

Actually, it's a huge deal. What if you were there to buy that phone and just wanted to test it out?

If it's not one thing it's then other in the US market. I really don't understand their sales structure. If they don't want to sell BlackBerry then why keep the overhead?

I think we need to email/tweet (whatever) the companies and give our feedback. This stuff is so unnecessary.

Because they can say they carry it in case there's someone out there that wants it. Then they can get the people in the door and push them to buy the Iphones they're contracted to sell.

Went to a Verizon store and they had no z10's out and one dummy unit of a q10. So pathetic, when I brought out my white z10, the rep said he didn't even know they made the phone in white....

Same thing at the Costco in Troy, MI. Z10 display replaced with HTC One. Only Z10 in the store was sandwiched between a couple of Androids on the mobile counter, and a small sign that said the Z10 can be bought for $0 on contract.

Really not looking good, this phone has only been out for a few months now...

Several years ago I went to an AT&T store to check our the torch. Thinking if I liked it enough I might dump Verizon and move over from my tour. They had one dead torch on display. No charger. I asked the sales guy and he acted like he could not care less. To busy selling iphones I guess. Anyway happy to give Verizon the business. At least when I ask about BlackBerrys at Verizon they are generally helpful even if not enthusiastic.

I love how etisalat in Egypt is working.
They have iphones and samsungs and htc and nokia phones on display but in a glass box and turned off, while they have q10, z10 and a cheap curve on display, fully charged and fully functional and also out of the glass box for people to try them out :P that is what you can call a true BlackBerry love

I hate to say it but the writing is on the wall guys. Within the next 5 years (5 maybe generous) BlackBerry will no longer be in the U.S. market. Carriers obviously don't care, and BlackBerry has basically no U.S. marketing. They are a forgotten company whose reputation is IMO beyond saving.

There is nothing we can do about situations like these, I am sure blackberry has people that monitor the way the devices are being represented in the markets. If not they really should.

Same at mine replaced the working Z with a real HTC One that isn't powered up, and two dummy Z10's. I asked the phone booth why and they said because they dropped the price of the one by $100. That's why it's front and center now. Even if it's not powered up.

This was exactly the case at 2 TMobile stores. First ome both the z10 and q10, and second just the q10.

In a 3rd store, the guy told me the display model was not working, and he said "you don't really want that phone anyway, get yourself something good like the Samsung Galaxy S4".

It's just frustrating to see stuff like that.

It really makes me sad to see how uneducated the employees are. When I went to get my z10 from att I asked the associate to show me some stuff about it. He had NO IDEA how to use it then just told me no one likes this phone anyway it's a dud. People will probably be mad at me saying this (and it's just my opinion so no one needs to freak out) but isn't this a good portion blackberrys fault. With lack of advertising here in the states and a general care free attitude towards the carriers I feel like they don't want it to be successful in the states (I'm not stupid I'm aware they want it to be it just doesn't seem like it)

I have seen some vans at health and fitness expos. Right before the Boston marathon they had a BlackBerry van advertising the z10 and people playing with it. I think they need more of that and obviously, more os updates - quickly!

Potentially a faster roll out of the A/z30 phone to make it up to people who invested in the first z10 and got screwed with the battery life.

Recently went to an AT&T store in KY and the Q10 was not charged and the Z10 had a big security cable stuck to the front of the screen. Literally covering up the whole carrier name and signal level. I checked out all the other touch screen phones there and of course none of them had their screen partially covered up.

Now Best Buy usually had really good displays for them. I hate Best Buy but will have to give them credit in that regard.

My two local best buys have also gone too cap in there displays. Both have the really nice displays with none of the phones working, is really counter productive. I can't understand why they would give up that much display space and then let the phones sit there and not function, is a loss for both companies.
