Hi,

So I checked the forums, still having trouble with Instagram on my BlackBerry Z10.

I cannot upload any pictures to Instagram. I am able to press the Center Camera Button on the bottom bar, followed by File Viewer, Select File, Crop, I cannot proceed to the following menu/screen, the application closes.

First occurred after updating to 10.2.0.810.

Device:
Model: BlackBerry Z10 STL100-3
OS Version: 10.2.0.810

Application:
Instagram 4.0.1

Other notes:

After updating my OS from 10.1 (no restore) I downloaded a number of different Instagram 4.0.1 apks, created a fresh debug token, converted the apk to bar, downloaded (and uninstalled) Instagram on to my device a number of different ways. Same issue occurs.

I have disabled in the settings "Auto-Play Videos", and "Use Instagram's Advance Camera" and "Use High-Quality Camera", on/off these feature seem to not make a difference, but I have them off due to personal preference prior to issue.

No issue: I am able to run Instagram, view photos and videos, like photos and videos, make comments, accept/decline followers, and send requests to follow.

i think you will need 4.02 version and you need to convert with debug token method. should work then according to others.

I am having the same issue. I have 4.0.2 and debug token via xsacha's method and it still doesn't work. Always crashes while trying to load the filters page. I even tried flashing the runtime from the .783 build, but that didn't fix the problem either.

Thanks but with the apk you provided that I converted using the debug token method and using the Chrome extension "BB10 / PlayBook App manager " the problem persists. I also uninstalled the version I had using the same extension followed by restarting my phone by holding the top bottom and then installing the bar with the extension.

To post pictures you have to side load the. 663 runtime. I'm on. 810 with a. 663 runtime and I can post pictures but I can't watch videos and on. 810 I coukd so basically it's one or the other. Post Pictures =. 663 Runtime; Watch Videos =. 810 Runtime

The latest Instagram won't work on the Android Runtime on the 810 build.

I suggest you to sideload the Runtime from 10.2.0.663.

You will then be able to upload pictures to Instagram but video playback may not work....

Silly question. What is this debug token method people are talking about? I am familiar with side loading apps, and the procedure, but haven't ventured into this section in past couple of months. Now, looking to update instagram as it says it will no longer run after the sixth, but there seems to be conflicting issues on what people are saying. Can I install the latest bar file the regular way, or is there some new debug token method in need to look into? Also, can I install latest instagram on 10.1 versin? Thanks for any help and replies.

If you disable the two settings under Instagram's "advanced features" 4.02 will work flawlessly on this build (haven't tried uploading videos, but uploading photos and viewing videos work without a hitch).

had my instagram working before i updated to 10.2.0.1047. once i installed this OS.. instagram fails to post pics and while using the IG camera... camera seems to be tilted and looks like my phone rotated 90degrees to the right. Decided to install android runtime 810 to 'fix' the issue but remained the same.

1. im no expert but i think debug token enables you to convert APK(android) files to BAR(blackberry) files and eventually sideload it to your bb10. here's the tutorial. better bookmark it, just in case =) Tutorial: Run any Android 2.3.3 App on Blackberry10 � Qtness Development
2. had my instagram working in the leaked OS 10.1.XXXX. but after i updated my OS to 10.2.0.1047... IG went haywire. troubleshooting here and there to no avail. hopefully this gets fixed soon =)
