Does anyone know of a good VPN provider for the BB Bold 9930?

I want to be more secure when I travel using my BB in hotels and other places.

I have never found a 'normal' VPN endpoint solution for the BB9900 or any other BB for that matter. In the end I gave up and ran my own BESx servers so I could have LAN access.

Interesting - thanks for that - I may do some testing at home and see if I can make it play nice with my VPN server. I presume no one has a simple PPTP setup?

had a quick play - and it didn't work at all. the phone refuses to see my vpn profile as 'valid' and won't even attempt to contact the vpn end point.

I have a recent update on this. I was successful getting vpntraffic.com configured and operating on my 9900 (L2TP with IPSEC). But the rude surprise is that nothing goes down the VPN tunnel. Active VPN profile is showing logged in as the status, but ALL of the 9900s internet traffic goes out direct, bypassing the VPN connection.

Tried the same setup on my 9930 (no longer in service on VZW). Same result. VPN connects but nothing goes down the tunnel.

I emailed vpntraffic.com twice to find out whats going on. No answers. Vpntraffic.com probably already knows that all you can do with a 9900 series device is to connect to their service, but you cant use it.
