    Hey guys i was just wondering if you can help me out. Anytime I answer the phone my z10 stays in headset mode
    I have to manually change it to handset mode in order to talk on the phone and i noticed when I hang up it turns back to headset mode. Also I cant hear anything play out loud like music or youtube clips, and i can't hear my alerts to let me know i have a message. HELP ME CRACKBERRY!!!!!!!

    do you by chance have bluetooth on?

    Exactly what I was wondering. I'm thinking it could be pairing itself to a headset or a hands-free system.

    This hasn't happened on my Z10, but my Style 9670 once thought that a headset was plugged in. I had to plug/unplug a headset to reset something (probably a small mechanism or some software switch). Maybe give that a try?

    It sounds like you have your headphones plugged in. Or at least your phone seems to think so.

    defective or mistoggled hardware switch inside the 3.5mm.

    try sticking a headphone connector into the hole and taking it out, it usually kicks it back into position.
