Somehow I have no control over the browser. I can open it, and that is it
There is no further response. I downloaded an alternative browser (chameleon) that works just fine. Any ideas?

I can pinch in and out, but there is no screen response. Touching the screen does nothing. I can not write and there is no response to touching hyperlinks.

    I like the BlackBerry Browser.

That said, have you tried a battery pull?

Depending on which OS you're using, sideloading a newer version of the browser may help.

It also happened to me a week ago. I week later it's working so so but not as well as it was working previously. Don't try to pull the battery, don't try to restart the phone, it doesn't work, all I can tell you is to be patience and it will work again in a few days.

Do this: press and hold the power button on top of your device, don't release, wait past the on-screen countdown to start- just ignore it and continue to hold until the phone completely shuts down - ignore the red LED but dont release the power button. Keep holding down until you see the boot screen and the logo. Don't release until you see the animated blue circle in the centre of your screen. This will flush out the cache and any stuck programs in the memory.

OK, have you tried clearing the cache and cookies in the browser?

This tread: How to clear your browsing data and history on BlackBerry 10 | CrackBerry.com

" If your browser is acting up, you can't load certain pages or you just want to cover your tracks, you may find that clearing out your browser data serves as a quick fix. The option is easy enough to use but a bit hard to find if you don't know where to look. Thankfully we've done the hard part
for you, so all you need to do is follow the steps below to get it done on your end.
    1. In the browser, tap the overflow icon (3 dots)
    2. Tap Settings Tap Privacy and Security Scroll down and you'll see two buttons - one for Clear History and the other for Clear Cookies and Other Data.
    3. Clear History will clean out your browser history of pages you've visited and wipe it clean. Clear Cookies and Other Data will take out the leftover data like login cookies or other saved information. To clear out each, simply tap the corresponding button. You'll see a toast message (popup) as confirmation along with an
undo button should you want to reverse the action."

If you can do this, it may work: Again clear history and cookies. then open browser, click inside your address bar and type exactly this: www.google.com/?t then hit go and you should be good.

Sorry mate, I'm almost fresh out of ideas short of re-installing the OS again.

Hi there! I've been experiencing this same issue with the Z10. I've tried all of the suggestions and I still experience the browser freezing/not responding issue. I didn't have this when I first got the phone so I don't know what's changed in the last few months. The only thing I haven't tried is a device wipe.

It's really becoming an issue for me and frustrating. The other issue is that it doesn't load 't.co links' from Blaq. I might have to look at another solution for browsing on my Z10 if these issues aren't fixed with the 10.2 update.

Hi all! I installed the new maintenance release this evening and ever since then, my browser has not frozen or been unresponsive. Also, opening t.co links from Blaq hasn't been an issue either. I'm one very happy camper as it was becoming very frustrating. Hope this works for everyone else. Cheers!
