    I need some advice.

I have 9810 and use it with my Playbooks (32 and 64). Works great and I have no issues. I want to upgrade/replace my 9810 that I have had for over 2 yrs. I like the 9810, but preferred the bold I had before it. I would like to get a Q10, but based on the link reviews I am nervous that the link will be a problem. I use my phone mostly for work emails (really like physical keyboard), and Playbooks for work emails plus other things like internet, music, videos, books and magazines, etc. I am not a power user although I use the Playbooks for more and more since I really like them. Recently bought 64 on Groupon.

I see AT&T still has the Bold ($99 with 2yr upgrade). I trying to decide if I should go with Bold or take the bigger jump to Q10 now. I okay keeping the 9810 for few more months.

I liked my Bold when I had one. But the technology is so far advanced with the Q10. Sure there are a few complaints, but you won't hear any from me. Blackberry is working on most of what we miss from earlier phones. They had to get something to market so it doesn't have all the bells and whistles that older phones had, just give it time.

As far as Link, I haven't had any problems with it. And besides, the Bold doesn't have LTE, but the Q10 does.

Q10. Not even a close call if you want a modern smartphone and OS.

They're both great, you can't make a bad decision. I just traded my 9900 in for the Q10 and don't regret it at all. 9900 was great but the Q10 is better already all around. Should get better and better with OS updates also!

Get a Q10. Its almost a perfect device. The only thing missing is the trackpad. Otherwise this would be an epic device.

Well I never had the 9900 I used the 9780 and man was that a great phone could last me 2days with heavy use, now since I've upgraded to the Q10 I'd say I'm getting about 12-18hrs with phone calls, emails, fb, twitter and a lot of bbm/whatsApp all from one charge, I took my phone off charger this morning at 8AM and its now 2:40AM and it just now told me I'm down to below 20%, great battery life, now on to the keyboard everyone will tell you that if you're a business user or a hardcore keyboard fan like I am then this is the phone for you, it is by far the best keyboard I've used, I never noticed how small the keys were on my 9780 till I went to use it for something a few days ago and im like wow its so hard to type on now love the Q10 keyboard , apps are some what lacking but they are coming, instagram is not here yet, tho can be sideloaded etc, but all the main ones such as memo pad now called reminder, calendar, facebook twitter BMO TD CIBC etc all here, overall I'd say get the Q10 its a great phone, tho either is a good choice

I upgraded my Bold 9700 to get a Q10 and the only 2 "major" regrets that I have so far from going from an my Bold 9700 running OS 6 to my Q10 running BB OS 10 is the contact synchronization (I'm using Google contacts) works erratically and not all the applications that I'm used to on my Bold 9700 being available on my Q10.

In every other way, my Q10 outshines my Bold 9700 running OS 6 (which required rebooting at least once per day at the time that I did the upgrade).

Actually another thing that I miss from my Bold 9700 is the re-occurring appointments

My advice would be to get a Q10!!! Over a month ago I got the Q10 and gave my two year old Bold 9900 to my girlfriend, and I've been extremely happy with the Q10. My girlfriend seems quite comfortable with her (my old) Bold 9900. So if you want to continue with familiar BBOS and the integration with the Playbook, get a Bold 9900. However if you want to try something new but still quite familiar (thanks to form factor and qwerty keyboard), get the Q10 !

I'm glad you decided to get the Q10 over the 99xx series. I would definitely agree that this is the one that all BlackBerry fans that desire a physical keyboard because the OS is advanced.

However, here are a few things I wish I had:

    - TrackPad - Non existant.
    - Call Buttons - Non existant.
    - Convenience Key for the Camera( not a huge deal).

    Good luck!

The Q10 is where it's at. For me, it's the phone I've been waiting for for a long time. Typing is brutally efficient. I prefer the form factor over other phones. Call quality is excellent. The browser is blazing fast, and you can use keyboard shortcuts while in it to navigate, refresh, and put pages into reader mode. And last but certainly not least, the BB10 OS is a pleasure to use. My only minor gripes are that it's bridge functionality with my Playbook isn't as complete as my old device was and I would like to see them bring back themes.

I was just in the AT&T store playing with the Z10 and Q10. I was really surprised how much I liked the Z10 size and keyboard. It was really
nice plus get it for $100 less at AT&T than Q10, and very low price at best buy. I use my phone most for work so I still lean toward the Q10.

BTW both AT&T and Best Buy (was there few days ago) they did not know about a $60 gift card. I thought I read some place that that BB was offering that on new BB10 phones. Does anyone know if that is still available and if so where?

I have to cast my vote for the Q10 as well. This is the end of my second day with it and I'm still marveling at how wondering of an upgrade it is over my Bold 9900. The 9900 is a fantastic phone but BB10 is simply a joy to use. You will not regret it from a standalone device standpoint. As far as use with the PlayBook goes unfortunately I can't help since I don't own one. Good luck! Good news is you really can't lose either way!

Great to hear! I had a bold and loved it. I enjoyed playing with the Q10 today. Great look and function. I will likely go with Q10 especially after all the comments......just surprised I liked the Z10 so much.

Would like to find the best deal. AT&T is $199 for 2 yrs for Q10.

If you want the phone for blazing fast internet and the possibility of a good phone in the future and you can wait get a Q10. If you want a polished product for productivity, instant email, quality phone thats not an app, dependable back up software, brighter screen, dependable calendar, cutting and pasting fast, customization options, ring tone selection, holster notification options, and multi tasking get the Bold!

    Just a quick update.

As I mentioned in my original posts on this thread I was surprised how much I liked the Z10. I finally made the decision to get one and have had the Z10 for 4 days now. What am AWESOME phone! Love the keyboard and the transition has been easy from 9810 since I have experience on Playbook. I thought I would really need the keyboard but so far I am doing fine without it.

My son (13) is very familar with iPhone 5 and he played with the Z10 soon after I got it. He was very impressed as well and I keep finding him on my phone!

Thanks for all the help and support!
