    Hey all,

I recently encrypted all the files on my sd card. Yesterday I had to perform a security wipe on my phone. Now according to the encryption, I no longer have the same phone and the phone is not able to decrypt the files on the sd card. Is there any way for me to recover photo's and such from my sd card?

    Kind regards,

    Vincent

It's done... pretty much need to format that baby and learn from that. You would have had to decrypt it before the security wipe I believe.

    Hi Vincent,

    Crackrockberry is 100% correct.
Unfortunately you delete the encryptions keys when performing a wipe operation on the BB10.

This is interesting. How does BlackBerry Balance work in a wipe situation. Will we lose the personal data when the IT department decide to do a remote wipe?

Personally I don't have experience with this, but supposedly they can only wipe the BES/work portion.
