What do you consider an "all day battery" to be?

A full 24 hours of heavy use?
    8 hours of occasional email?

    Somewhere in between?

Personall, I want a battery that is capable of 14 hours of moderate to heavy use. Not that I need that every day, but say I have a long day at work plus I go to a baseball game at night, I may leave home at 7:30 am and get home at 11:30 pm.

I would like a battery that could get me through that.

14 hours for me. That is a full work day. I can charge at work and in the car so it doesnt matter but if it lasts 14 hours with fairly good usage (3-4 hours screen time) I am happy

To me it's from the time I get up to the time I go to bed.
About 16 hours on a normal day.
I have never had a problem making it the entire day.
I am a medium user during the day and a heavy user in the evening. Also, I live in a bad cell area and work at home.

To me my BlackBerry would give me 24 hours if need be. I take my phone off the charger at 7 and when I finish my work day and get home, I'm usually around 60%. If I don't plug it in it will be around 30% in the morning.

I've had my phone off the charger since 11:00 am yesterday morning....so I've received 36 hours on a single charge.

8 hours with the cell radio on would do that I think.

No that includes the evening after I get home from work. I get home around 5-6 and go to bed around midnight. The couple times I haven't plugged it in its usually around 30 when I woke up. Just have to let it sit on my desk at work for a while when I get there until it's charged adequately.

I always charge my battery overnight so I am not sure what is normal for overnight.

I consider it a full day (8am to 8pm) of normal use. If I'm doing heavy use, I expect to need to charge or swap batteries.
