Man I've seen "a lot"( a dozen or so the couple times I was up there recently) of them up in the oilfield areas of northern Alberta and BC heck there was even a commercial on The Bear in Fort St John that basically said hey guys download our BlackBerry 10 app for our radio station... where's as the radio stations in edmonton just literally say sorry blackberry no app for you.

That fort st john commercial caught me off guard lol!

Canada is not BlackBerry's problem. Plenty of bb10 devices to be seen up here. It's the US that's the issue.

A lot of contractors here in Nova Scotia are using them as well. All protected by the Otterbox. Everyone of that that I talked to said they were very happy with the phone.

As ibpluto said, the US is the major issue.

I don't think BlackBerry's reputation is even close to as damaged anywhere else in the world compared to the US.

It seems that while there are certainly a lot of US BlackBerry fans, the majority of Americans either don't know BlackBerry is still in business, have never heard of bb10, or they HAVE heard of bb10 but loathe and despise BlackBerry with the intensity of the center of the Sun and are extremely vocal about their hatred--making sure to post misinformation and "BlackBerry Sucks" messages at every chance they get.

I've seen them around quite a bit and majority are using the stock ring tones. Sitting in Tim Hortons in the morning all you hear are bb10 going off haha.
