    Hi, was wondering if this feature worked for you on your z10. I'm on T Mobile and this is what I get when I try it.

    I'm hoping that there is a dev out there with a proper call blocker waiting for headless apps in 10.2. I'd pay $25 for that.

    Nope... I had tried that and nothing. Even the universal search was unable to find anything. Must be another Tmo 'goodie' like Wifi calling (except it doesn't really work).

    I'm on Rogers and get the same pop up asking for a password. I get the feeling it's a paid subscription thing and you get a password when you add it to your plan.

    I found the menu and mine doesn't work either. I'm on T-mob 10.1.0.2006.

    But I do appreciate you pointing out this menu. I never saw it before.

    Just to confirm that O2 UK has the same option in the Phone settings, and like the OP we are asked for a password

    Hello,

    I have a Blackberry Z10 through Verizon. While for me, there is no call blocking feature on the phone, through the Verizon website, and the Verizon app I am able to successfully block calls and texts from up to five numbers for a 90 day period with no charge.

    Okay... i see. So this maybe a paid feature! well if that is the case some Dev needs to put this feature in the Apps section.

    Nah, lol, it's most likely a carrier feature. Call your carrier to see what's up

    Hello.

    Your "Password" is a Standard/Default Pin:

    Try for example:
    * 0000
    * 1234
    * 9999

    Some of them should work. Or if You Carrier handed You a "Pin 2" - try that instead.

    On Prepaid Accounts: Often some options are not changeable - carrier dependent.

    Good Luck

    Oh BTW: A Call Blocking App is in the Work. We (the Dev and us Betatester) are still waiting for the 10.2 SDK Gold [currently expected to come mid of August. But only BlackBerry knows the truth ] which brings the Headless API which is needed for deeper Access.

    This is a carrier feature. It blocks all incoming calls. Especially useful if you want to avoid roaming incoming call charges. You need to activate it at your carrier store but I doubt anyone is using this feature now.

    It's there for me but I'm guessing my carrier disabled it. I think they want me to accidentally dial int and charge me money.

    It's available to all. Make sure you are not on wifi calling when you try to access the settings from the phone app.

    if you want to just block calls from numbers not in your phonebook,you can do that in parental controls,it just sends the caller to voicemail.i have that feature set on my AT&T z10 since i sometimes have to use my phone for work.

    same with me turning on that setting that only cuz the telemarketers and hispanic phone callers were driving me nuts, now they go to voicemail and it's quickly dwindling.
