    So I got a new Z10 from my warranty because I dropped my last one in the water. I restored it via BlackBerry Link and now whenever I receive a text it shows up as a different person in my contacts. Not only that but their message is showing up as if I sent the message. Help

    This use to happen when I install a leak and did a restore. That happen like 4 times, and I had to start fresh. With out restoring any data... That's why stay with the official 10.1 from tmobile for a while. until the last one came out with wifi calling and that one actually worked good. Did my restore and my txt where working. Normal. . I suggest to do a fresh os install with out doing no restore unless you want to try the last leaked OS which I actually did a backup and restore and everything was working fine

    Mine does that sometimes, I just do a battery pull, and it usually fixes it.

    Stop restoring. Install leaks but if you restore from an earlier one, you put old changed data on top of new improved data and confuse the phone. We (Kris the Moderator) and I don't use restore. It helps.
