It works great on the 483 leak. It is a native experience. Really Smooth. One issue is that you can't sign into your Google account. Also, the icon is screwed up. But, everything works and it doesn't crash.

Would you please share the APK? I've tried to convert GMaps 7.0 APK from 2 different sources and both crashed on start.

EDIt: Oh, I see, you run the 10.2 leak, that may be the reason why it works for you. Damned, can't wait for the final version to roll out, leak or official.

I tried to get it from Play store originally but it was still the old version.

It is not hard to find if you Google for Google Maps 7 apk.

wierd, i'm running 7.1404.3.0 and it doesn't look like that at all. tried downloading it from play store 2 different times and it gave me versions 7.1404.1.0 and 7.1404.2.0...

nevermind. i googled for google map 7.0 apk and downloaded the newest version. it shows up as 8.0.2513.0 on chrome extension. it's also a bigger file at 6.5mb.

i'm running 10.2.0.483

I'd like to know the answer to this as well. With 10.1 everything that calls com.googlemaps.com in the conversion from APK to BAR force closes on startup.

No, its not. You can enable fine location tracking for your Google+ contacts. Try it, just verified it on my Motorola RAZR.

That's because apk2bar uses 2.3.3 android runtime. That version of maps is only compatible with 4.0.3+
