I've already made two threads previously.
I have gotten some good suggestions but none have helped to remove my "active -frame lag" which only occurs when I have an app running that runs a slide show. Like for instance CB10 runs through a couple of pictures in the active frame screen, making my movement choppy as I slide in and out of the active frames. It is truly unbearable as I loved the smoothness of my z10 and that aspect in and of itself made me LOVE my zed10.

    Currently on:
    T-mobile OS 10.1.0.2006
All non leak, no side loaded apps
    I've done security wipes
    I've started from fresh
    I've deleted all my accounts
Now I know this is common with some t mobile users, but not all. I'd love to know why.
Thanks for taking time out of your day to help me!

I experienced this too. It seems to be a 10.1 issue.

I've read that in the leaks, it seems to be smooth, I'm sure if we wait until 10.2, this will be fixed. In the meantime, you could put it on 10.0 again?

I haven't upgraded to 10.1 (I'm on Rogers which has the official 10.1) because of reports of lag.

Although I'm getting the impression that lag may be on the OMAP Z10's only (or at least mostly) , because I've seen OMAP Z10's with terrible lag running 10.0 on youtube.

I have an STL-3 (Krait CPUs and Adreno 225 GPU), and 10.0 is superfast.

The Settings app always loads in less than a second, for example, while I've heard some people having delays of up to 8 seconds for it to load.

Active Frames are always fast, and transition into the hub is also always extremely fluid.

Yea I might just do that, 10.0 was super smooth.

Yea, I think STL-1 run OMAP so I should be good. But I am fixing to go back down to 10.0 hopefully this fixes that issue, sucks because I will be losing some features aswell.

now, do you know of a way to revert back to 10.0? because the soft brick method to then using bb link to restore the OS, doesnt really work. On setup i get my carriers update, which is to 10.1. Is there any way to avoid that..?

10.1.0.4543 is worth a shot to be honest. It's way more fluid than even the 10.2 leak I ran, plus includes wifi calling.

Not off hand unfortunately. I think I recall seeing a post on the forums about how to revert to 10.0.

I have simply not upgraded so I haven't had to use any special methods to get it (I just never left 10.0 in the first place).

One way may be to just install an official leaked 10.0. But you have to make sure it's a leak that is appropriate for your model.

Sorry I couldn't be of more help. :/

I actually tried that leak yesterday and still the lag persisted on the same exact thing, active frames.

I have to agree. 10.1.0.4537 was lagging, but 4543 is super smooth for me. STL-3 with MTS Mobility.

No lag at all with the settings app. It also includes simple password.

Did you do a security wipe before you installed 4543? I then did a restart as well once updated and restored which may help.

No need to do a wipe before. Waste of time as your are replacing that OS.

Doing it after is a must.
