    Some random marketing number sends me 100's of texts a day, I have replied saying 'STOP' it does not work. Is there a place in phone settings to block that one number?

    I can't see what carrier your on but I know Rogers blocks numbers, you can either call in or go online to block certain numbers (I'm sure most carriers do that)

    Try sms blocker from blackberry world. Stick with official os though...the latest leaks arent supported.

    Yes if the app doesn't work, I would suggest contacting your carrier and asking them to block the number.

    Yea Rogers blocks spam numbers just give them a call I called to complain about getting spam calls regarding cruises they checked my log and blocked all numbers from the US area code that called me since that's the spam numbers. They can still call if they use different numbers but I didn't get any

    Under SMS settings, there are options to "Reject Anonymous " and "Reject Advertisements". Since I enabled those, I haven't had any junk SMS messages. Haven't missed any from Contacts either.
