Is there a way to group icons on the home screen into folder/s? I don't really like seeing many icons on my screen and swiping many times. But that doesn't mean I can't live with it. I just prefer to group them.

Yes. Long press on one of the icons until the icons start pulsating. Drag the desired icon over the one you want to group it with. Once hovering one icon over the next and one icon becomes larger, release the long press. An message will appear to title the group. Once you name the folder, it will appear on your homescreen.

You can add apps to this folder in the same manner.
